My name is Osura Perera, and photography for me is more than just a profession, it is a passion rooted in storytelling, emotion, and timeless memories. Every photograph has the power to capture something that words often cannot: "a moment, a feeling, or a memory that will never happen again in exactly the same way". My work focuses on preserving those authentic moments so that they can be revisited and cherished for years to come. Through my lens, I aim to capture natural expressions, real emotions, and meaningful connections. Whether it is a surprise proposal, a couple’s session, or a family moment, the goal is always the same, to create images that feel genuine, beautiful, and timeless.

• The Evolution of My Brand

Like many creative journeys, my photography brand has evolved over time.

In the earlier stages of my work, I shared my photography under different creative identities, including "IAMPIXEL Photography" and Capturing Strangers. These projects were part of my artistic exploration and helped me develop my style, refine my vision, and grow as a photographer. The content and work created under these names remain copyrighted creative works that belong to my current and final brand identity. As my experience grew and my direction became clearer, I made the decision to unify everything under a single professional brand:"OSURAPERERA PHOTOGRAPHY".

 

This transition was made to bring clarity, consistency, and a stronger identity to my work. If you have seen my photography previously under "IAMPIXEL" Photography or "Capturing Strangers", please know that they are simply earlier chapters of the same creative journey.

My intention in sharing this is to ensure there is no confusion or misunderstanding about my work and its origins. Everything created under those names represents the foundation that led to the brand I proudly present today.
